With `Roots´ Dûrga served up a potent opening course for their new album, Sequoia. Today they launch 'Deshielo', a second preview showing the ambition and know-how on which the roots of this next work are laid, which will be released on June 10th.
With this newly released single, now available on all digital platforms, the band takes a step forward and surprises with a track far removed from its post-rock sound, exchanging long passages and reverbs for distortions, voice and speed. All this without giving up your identity sign.
`Deshielo´ is a quick and short subject, as is the reality that they question with their message: we live absorbed in a capitalist world in which everything is ephemeral and fleeting. And so they make it explicit in this single: "everything that arrives quickly is just as quickly forgotten, everything material is labyrinths with no way out".
After the remarkable reception of their first advance, the trio continues to climb on their way to the publication of Sequoia, an album that comes with strong and notable intentions and that, without a doubt, will not leave all those passionate about alternative rock indifferent. In short, Dûrga turns the public into the witness of an unquestionable rise that is supported by his recording in the emblematic Ultramarinos Costa Brava studios (Toundra, Bala, Standstill) and counts for its edition Narshardaa Records (Germany), Nooirax Producciones (Spain) and Sleepless Owl Records (France).
