DARGOR "Descent Into Chaos" (Full-Length, 2021)

 "Dargor" was founded by Michał Kustra in Polish town Krosno. Michał has already
played the electric guitar in a couple of local metal bands: Krusher (thrash metal),
Arondight (heavy metal) and Scarlet Moon (black metal). He always wanted to create
something himself which would fit his music taste in one hundred percent.
That’s how "Dargor" was born. At the start, it was the one-man black metal project
inspired by bands such as Samael, Ajattara, Dimmu Borgir or Summoning. Michał
planned to do everything himself. Compose, write lyrics, record, mix, master and
make videos. The first two songs („Hellfire” and „Decay”) were made this way. The
third song (Samael – „Crown” cover) was entirely created by Michał too except
mixing and mastering done by Adrian Mięsowicz.
After releasing the first three songs and videos, the nice live show proposition
approached. It was a gig in Rock Iron Klub Krosno with Furia and Varmia. After a few
phone calls, Michał Socha (guitar), Damian Muszyoski (bass & second vocal) and
Maciej Socha (drums) have joined the band and the line up was completed.
There were a few months to the show. The band practised, composed a few more
songs („Awaken”, „Bloodthirst” and „Abysses”) and started to play the new cover
(Satyricon – The Wolfpack). After the successful gig, the guys decided to stay together
and continue playing.
The next step was recording all new songs: „Abysses”, „Bloodthirst”, „Awaken” and
Satyricon – The Wolfpack cover. Band added them to the three already recorded
songs („Hellfire”, „Decay” and Samael – Crown cover) and released all material as EP
called „Descent Into Chaos”. The videos were made for all new songs as well. You can

 The "Descent Into Chaos" EP contains seven songs. All tracks are focused around the
melodic, atmospheric but still aggressive black metal. Lyrics are mostly about mental
pain, the process of inner descent and the dark sides of human nature. Despite the
negative subjects, the message is positive. We can always choose between darkness
and light.
Currently, the band is working on the new material. The five new author songs are
already composed. They are all in a similar style as before. Also, the new member
joined the band. It’s Dawid Warchoł who plays the keyboard. He will provide the
band with a lot more atmosphere and space.
Dargor play melodic black metal. The sound is cold, atmospheric but still aggressive.
