Slice of Sorrow is an atmospheric death metal band from Russia, which was founded in 2015 as a side project of Roman Nemtsev (guitars, vocals) one of the members of metal band Instorm.
Slice of Sorrow's music combines melancholic melodies, head-banging rhythm guitars, atmospheric keyboards and extreme expressive vocals.
In June 2017 band releases the full-length album "Execution" via Metal Carnival Records, the official music video for "Brutal", and tours Russia.
In March 2018 Slice of Sorrow plays as a support act for the mighty CRADLE OF FILTH in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
In June 2018 the band performs at an International Metal Festival "United Metal Fest" Open Air in Belarus.
In July 2018 Slice of Sorrow releases the single "Parasite".
On April 30 band releases second full-length album called Egothrone via Metal Carnival Records.
