Today’s review is of Danish Heavy Metal band Evil’s cult EP “Evil’s Message”, celebrating its remaster and deluxe reissue.
These 5 tracks display classic Heavy Metal at a fast and powerful pace, similar to Hell, Motörhead or Demon, although also adding hints of Speed Metal in the likes of Exciter on tracks like “Evil” or “Take Good Care (Of Your Balls)”.
The melodies have the right amount of technique as to be catchy and produce nice songs like the instrumental title track, although they aren’t as elaborate as to deprave the music of its fun and rough edge. These 5 tracks are truly classics in Danish Metal, and this reissue may interest collectors, especially with the rare pictures it includes.
I recommend this album to fans of Heavy Metal and Speed Metal. My rating is of 9,5/10.
