Brazilian power trio Centro da Terra launches Vinyl mastered at the legendary Abbey Road
The new release is also available in CD and DVD special package
The brazilian power trio Centro da Terra is promoting their third album, mastered in one of the most legendary studios in the world, Abbey Road in London. The album, which is also called Centro da Terra, is already available at a special vinyl pressing. The work presents the “electric ritual” music, a blend of 70’ rock and roll and some progressive and brazilian rhythms influence.
An expanded edition in box format brings together CD along with a DVD with a live show and a complete documentary about the independent rock and roll scene in Brazil nowadays. Both CD plus DVD and vynil versions has a cover art with a imense painting by the know artist Paulo Motta.
The work was made possible through a crowdfunding campaign, which exceeded the established goal, which shows the strength of Centro da Terra as the ascending representative of the brazilian rock'n'roll.
The band
Formed in 2010, the band Centro da Terra has traveled more than 200 thousand kilometers across the country, aboard their van called "Chibaba", playing in festivals and big venues. The band has already shared the stage with artists such as Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Steppenwolf, Arnaldo Baptista and Almir Sater, among many others. The band has done more than 1200 concerts and counting.
With Fred Pala's funky blues (guitar and vocals) perfected on the streets of Europe, Zeca Mustang's progressive rock'n'roll (bass and backing vocal) and Guilherme Pala's innovative jazz fusion (drums), the power trio Centro da Terra brings up spiritual elevation. Through music and poetry, the group from São José do Rio Preto (São Paulo) presents its work as a form of active meditation, using improvisations and mixes of Brazilian sound rhythms such as bossa nova and baião, along with jazz, blues and many more.
The work they develop transcends the musical barrier. The fusion of the electric music and the spiritual field results in a unique experience.
