ANONYMUS release live video for "Tierra" in collaboration with band founder Marco Calliari

The legendary Canadian thrash metal band Anonymus have met with the founder of the band Marco Calliari for a live video of “Tierra”, song included in the album number 12 of the group “La Bestia”, the first release in Spanish. The song is sung in English and Italian.

 

Calliari's departure from Anonymus in 2013 was to continue her solo career with which she had already released 3 albums: Che la vita (2003), Mia dolce vita (2006) and Al faro est (2010).

 

 

The band comments on the reunion:

 

"Marco was in the group for a long time, we were friends in high school when we decided to start with Anonymus. We learned to play our instruments together, playing covers, until we started composing our own songs. For us, it is always a great pleasure, that he comes and sing and play here and there. He left the band to take his solo career to another genre (worldbeat / pop). He is a monster of interpretation and we understand each other very well, so having him and sharing certain moments together is something very natural. We celebrate our past by having him in this performance while, on the other hand, we focus on the future writing new material for a new release. “Tierra” is very special because it is the only song we have done in Spanish and Italian. It is a tribute to our families who have made sacrifices in their lives and leave their families and countries for a better future and a new home. It strikes a chord when you see all the im igrante doing the same in Africa, Latin America and the rest of the world. Our parents ended up with a beautiful story when they emigrated, but that is not the case for everyone. The song is about the discovery of the new land ”.

 

 

"La Bestia" is the new album produced largely by Jef Fortin and renowned producers Colin Richardson (Hamlet, Carcass, Trivium, Slipknot, Sepultura, etc) and Jean-François Dagenais (Kataklysm). It contains 7 songs in Spanish and two bilingual songs, in French and Spanish, "Violencia versus violence" with the collaboration of Carlos Maldos from Lethal Creation (MX) and Arno Dhenain Le Bourhis from Black Bomb A (FR) and "Tierra" with the Italian singer Marco Calliari.
