 The Swedish Vikings Havamal are back on the battlefield with their second work "The Shadow Chapter", which will be released on May 21, 2021 through Art Gates Records. After releasing one of the most powerful Viking / Folk Metal debuts of 2019, they are back with their most ambitious project to date. The album cover has been created by artist Alexander Rommel in Aerroscape and represents the most recurring theme of his discography, telling the stories of the monsters that ruled and spread panic in Norse mythology. It also represents the eternal beast that is in the depths of human nature, light and darkness are always linked and are never mutually exclusive.

Quoting Havamal:
This album shows our evolution as musicians in our masterpiece, a step forward for the band both at the group level and individually. Each member is able to shine through their talents and influences, this is what Havamal means to us. This represents our own evolution of Metal, with our hymn weavers, and we couldn't be more proud.
