Today’s review is of Greek Epic Heavy Metal band Warrior Path’s new album.
This album leans sometimes towards Power Metal, but the usual sound of these songs reminds more of Seventh Son-era Iron Maiden, with atmospheres similar to the ones on that album being present in tracks like “Savage Tribe”, “His Wrath Will Fall” (especially with that heavily influenced initial riff) or the title track.
This album has concise riffs and lyrics that go well to the point without falling into simplicity, and the aura from the songs is quite immersive. Thanks to a decent rhythmic section and good vocals, the release is pretty enjoyable, especially if you’re into the fantastic side of Metal. With uplifting melodies in the style of Power Metal mixed with a more Heavy Metal composition, this album ends up being a nice mix of the styles.
I recommend this album to fans of Epic Heavy Metal and Power Metal. My rating is of 8,5/10.
