The Norwegian band SLAVES TO FASHION released two albums and toured Norway and Germany between 2007 and 2012 with their own twist of progressive metal. After changing lead singer the band played a more modern style of metal until they went on hiatus 2014. The band only sporadically appeared under the monicker MOTESLAVENE, the pop version of the band playing their own songs in Norwegian.
In 2020 they returned with the ambitious concept album project "The History of Heavy Metal". The band released one new song every month that payed tribute to the different time periods and subgenres of heavy metal. The full album will be released digitally and on CD February 13th 2021.
