March 2021

Mighty Music

March is here and no signs of the live music being back anytime soon. However, here at Mighty Music we're invested in providing you the best lockdown possible. We do so by releasing the music and products we ourselves would like to buy and trusting there are more music fanatics out there as we are.

This month we keep our saga of spilling new blood, by signing the Danish thrashers Killing. But, since we were having the signing pens in our hand, we took the chance to extend our connection to NWOBHM legends Tygers Of Pan Tang and line-up a whole new compilation best-of, with bonus, for the fans. Mike Tramp is also reviewing his solo career with the new "Everything Is Alright" compilation. Finally, Transport League is warming the engines for their new album in the Summer and, in this newsletter, you'll get to see their new video "Criminal Energy".

New blood

Mighty Music signs Killing

Mighty Music is proud to announce the signing of your Danish thrashers KILLING. The four-piece band from Midtjylland created quite a stir with their 2018 EP "Toxic Asylum" and, one year later, with the two-track single "Raise Your Anger". They're now looking up for releasing their debut album on Mighty Music.

Drummer Jesper Skousen comments: "Mighty Music is a legendary record label, so it’s really cool to have signed with them. We are looking forward for the cooperation, and to see which possibilities it might open for Killing in this next chapter of our story. First step is to get the album out".

Watch/listen Killing's  "Raise Your Anger" here.

Kickin Valentina "The Revenge Of Rock"

"The Revenge Of Rock", easily the best KICKIN VALENTINA record until now, is hitting the press like a sledgehammer and the outpour of good reviews just testifies that.

So, if you're with a revenge thirst of rock'n'roll, done in the dirty American way, and you haven't yet, this is a good timing to check the new video from Kickin Valentina and order "The Revenge Of Rock" in CD or red vinyl LP.

Electric Boys

It’s more or less consensual that “Ups!de Down”, the new ELECTRIC BOYS album, will be one of the best rock releases in 2021. Heavily contributing to this are songs such as “Tumblin’ Dominoes”, the new single from the Swedes. Superb melancholic-inducing, almost self-reflective chorus, one of the best bridges in recent rock history, and that groove that Electric Boys master so well.

As somebody said, if there’s a theme to the pandemic, it’s “Tumblin’ Dominoes”. Vocalist Conny Bloom elaborates: “It all started in one place... Then BOOM, all men down! The song also reflects the effects social medias can have on people”.
