Today’s review is of Danish Brutal Death Metal band Iniquity’s classic second album, since the remastered version is going to be released this March.
This album is quite average old-school Brutal Death Metal in the likes of Nile. With great speeds, numerous breakdowns and exceedingly harmonic-filled riffs combined with a notable amount of technique, this album has memorable tracks like “Inhale The Ghost” or “Surgical Orb”, but most of the album falls in the average.
Nonetheless, this was an important release of Danish Death Metal, and this display of brutality sure is enjoyable if you’re into the genre. This rerelease is just what you needed if you still don’t have this album, and it also may bring some more attention to this underground jewel.
I recommend this album to fans of Brutal Death Metal and Technical Death Metal. My rating is of 8/10.
