Afasica is the unlikely result of the collision of three Valencian musicians with such diverse backgrounds that go from the most extreme metal to the most classic progressive rock. The birth of this instrumental power-trio dates back to 2012, but it was not until 2016 when creativity and local hours crystallized in their first EP “Afasia”. The excellent musical proposal and the format little seen in our country made this first release slip not only in the players of many listeners but also among the lists of best albums of that year, highlighting the award for "Best Instrumental Album or EP" Awarded by the readers of the website “Metal Español”. But their brilliance is not limited to the suffered plastic of a CD, but they have managed to capture the forceful elegance of their live compositions in which, despite their short career, they have shared the stage with consecrated bands such as El Altar del Holocausto or Morgana vs. Morgana, always hooking the public in each of her performances. In 2021, and after a long composition process, Afásica will give life to a new EP entitled “Papirolepsia”, which was recorded at Dinammo Studios with Fran Pardo as sound engineer and producer, mastered by Enrique Soriano in Crossfade Mastering, designed by vlexis romo, and with collaborations of the caliber David G. Álvarez from Angelus Apatrida. “Papirolepsia”, a new and unpredictable exercise in progressive post rock destined to make the group grow in a scene only suitable for demanding ears.
