After 7 albums, The Dry Mouths present for the first time a song sung in Spanish,
"T3ChN3Rd5" that last unreleased studio song recorded by Andy Reyes on bass. It was recorded
for the first time in the sessions of his latest album "Lo-FiSounds For Hi-FiPeople" in December
2015, being left out of the album's tracklist because the performance did not convince the members
In 2018 AndyReyes, JoshMorales and ChristO.Rodríguez re-recorded this song in
Desert City Studio with new structure and dynamics, being reserved for later
years later, in January 2021, the arrangements and the new vocal part are recorded in
Spanish.
“T3ChN3Rd5” is released as a digital single on February 11, 2021, two years after the
death of Andy Reyes, in honor and memory.
The artwork is in charge of IvánCarreño, representing a twist to the image of the tree
of life, starting from the cypress, which both in classical culture and in most manuals of
symbolism represents death.
The DryMouths are currently immersed in the production process and
recording of his next album, which is expected to be released in autumn 2021 and will be
fully instrumental.
