Today’s review is of American Hard Rock band Kickin Valentina’s new album.
The band plays a very catchy and American kind of Rock that reminds sometimes of Bon Jovi (like on “Rat Race”), Guns n’ Roses (like on “End Of The Road”) or of Poison (like on “Lookin For Me”). Their songs, and especially the ones on this album, seem really fit to play live for an enormous audience, and their show will surely be worthy.
Musically, they play really old-school 80’s Hard Rock with a kind of rough-edge that makes them sound quite Heavy Metal even though their style is very defined. The songs are usually pretty predictable, but they have seemingly no flaws and transmit exactly what’s intended.
I recommend this album to fans of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal. My rating is of 9,5/10.Review by Varg The Mighty
