Hadal "December"

HADAL was born at the end of 2009 in the depressive Italian town of Trieste. The aim was to merge atmospheric verses and dark metal riffs, creating a slow groove with melodic yet powerful guitars. In ten years of existence, the band released two promos and one full-length ("Painful Shadow” in 2017). "December" is a compendium of the band's history, and a greeting to the first ten years of activity. The band rearranged some old tracks and composed new melodies, keeping in mind one vision: a deeper sounding matter. This is how HADAL conceives metal music: a melancholic and gloomy sound, always linked to the people's inner tragedies. Despite their inclination for the cold winter season, the overall result is a warm one, with no interest in overproduction. In certain cases, vocal interpretations pay tribute to the Mediterranean lyrical tradition, even if the menacing growl is still there to give a balance to the final result.
