Eternal, the first EP by the death metal band Nihilrage, is now available to listen to on their Bandcamp and on the main streaming platforms in the world:

In the same way, we must inform that it is a bittersweet publication, incomplete, since it has finally not been able to be accompanied by its physical edition on CD as we are morally obliged to change its cover at the last minute.
The reason for this urgent cover change is very embarrassing… Earlier this week a friend of Nihilrage alerted them to the ‘extraordinary similarity’ between the demon that featured on their cover and a design by the American artist Alaric Barca. A design that you can check for yourself on your Instagram account and that dates, at least, September 2019:

When Nihilrage contacted the illustrator in charge of their cover, she was unable to give them a convincing explanation, but she did have time to delete their professional profiles on social media. We are not releasing the name of this designer for two reasons. To begin with, because we do not want a campaign of harassment on the internet that does not lead to anything and that only feeds the curiosity of some. Secondly, because we are finding out that this person is more affected by this type of practice and we prefer to be prudent if they decide to take the actions they deem appropriate.
Alaric Barca was not aware of this event, although he showed his bewilderment because only a few hours before we spoke with him someone had tried to buy the rights to that particular demon. His conciliatory and friendly attitude should be noted once we brought him up to date on everything. We publicly apologize again and thank you wholeheartedly for your empathy.

Nihilrage and Blood Fire Death want to leave behind that old cover forever and present the Eternal EP as it deserves. Turn the page now, because they have been days of many nerves and stress, even embarrassment for reasons that are beyond our control, and as you can imagine, of economic losses on the part of the band because they already had a run of digipack CDs prepared that never will see the light, and they even had to throw back the printing of a T-shirt. That is not to mention the hundred promotional CDs distributed around the planet for days ...
