Currently formed by Fabio Lione (vocals), Rafael Bittencourt (guitar), Marcelo Barbosa (guitar), Felipe Andreoli (bass) and Bruno Valverde (drums), the band held a live, also on Saturday (28), to announce the plans for 2021.
The first novelty is that, starting on December 12th, the band will release one song a week using the footage from the “ØMNI” tour, held in São Paulo, on Tom Brasil, for what would be the new DVD of quintet, but which unfortunately could not be launched due to technical problems in capturing the material. Along with the videos, the song will also be released on streaming platforms and possibly also on physical media.
Founder and guitarist Rafael Bittencourt also announced that Angra will relaunch the albums of the entire discography, creating special edition boxing. And to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the acclaimed album “Rebirth”, the band will hold a special tour, with guests to be announced soon. There will be 14 shows, for now, only in Brazil. The band released 12 dates:
April 30: Manaus May 1: Recife May 2: Fortaleza May 7: Belo Horizonte May 8: Brasilia May 9: Goiania May 14: Porto Alegre May 15: Curitiba May 16: Florianópolis May 21: Vila Velha May 22: Salvador
The group is excited about the success of this work and the launch of the next videos, as well as the projects for the coming year. Angra toured the album “ØMNI” all over the planet, with more than 180 dates. "ØMNI" has been acclaimed by the public and critics, which has resulted in several experiences and projects for the band. |
