The EP consists of 3 tracks of dark melancholic music that does not abandon heaviness on the pursuit of angst. With a low, good Death Metal voice combined with more Gothic passages upon beautiful riffs, the music tends towards Doom as is usual, but it may be slightly too fast to be considered as so in my opinion, even if multiple characteristics are present.
The 2 first songs are in English and the last one, “No Muertos”, is sung in Spanish without losing any bit of the atmosphere previously created. The songs are gloomy but kind of typical for the style, as if Moonspell met Paradise Lost and tried to imitate Tiamat. Nonetheless, all three songs are pretty good and enjoyable for fans of this genre and similar ones. What’s for sure is that 3 songs is much too short for the EP and they leave us with the need of more length.
I recommend this album to fans of Gothic Metal, Death Doom Metal and Death Doom Metal. My rating is of 8,5/10.
