Today’s review is of American Hard Rock band After The Fall’s new EP, out on November 6th.
Continuing with their style that is completely influenced by the 90’s scene, these songs remind us of the last Mötley Crüe albums, with the same confidence in the drums, rock & roll riffs and definitely with a voice like Vince Neil. The EP can also be considered with basically any other Glam Rock band who changed their style in the millennium’s last decade to a higher or lesser scale. The songs that make this more apparent are “New S.A.” and “Devil Be Dammin’ Me Blues”.
The band also has some slight influences from the contemporary Pop Punk movement, probably mostly from The Offspring (like on “Suicide March”, and they have some parts that also sound quite modern. The most visible trait of modernity though is the high quality of the recording. Sounding completely American, these songs will be a great addition to their set lists.
recommend this EP to fans of American Hard Rock, Glam Rock and Pop Punk. My rating is of 8,5/10.
