Former Misfits Drummer Joey Image Dead at Age 63

Former Misfits drummer Joey Image at died at the age of 63,  The New York Hardcore Chronicles. No reason has been for his death, although Lambgoat notes that the drummer “was said to have been diagnosed with liver cancer in 2016.”
 Born Joey Poole, Image played with the Misfits in 1978 and 1979, and appeared on such tracks as “Where Eagles Dare,” “Night of the Living Dead,” “Horror Business,” “Who Killed Marilyn?,” “Teenagers From Mars,” and “Children in Heat.” He briefly re-joined the band for a tour in 2000.
